Are you looking for a non-traditional, fun and old fashioned-type setting for your wedding? One that has lots of outdoor potential and one that is also affordable?
I have done a number of weddings at Lakeside Farms in Ballston Lake, NY, on 336 Schauber Road. It is a simple nice venue that provides great rustic pavilion setting for people who want to be more on the outside. The area is perfect; not to far away from everything, yet away from everything, as well.
Amy Hedges (who, by the way is a fabulous photographer) has uploaded a number of pictures that show the Lakeside’s roomy pavilion with plenty of outdoor light bleeding in on a wedding reception about to happen.
A great time was had by all, with a blend of live acoustic music to start, and fun DJ action later on with me.
Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School Karaoke Party
AFTER PROM PARTY
I had the pleasure of providing the music and entertainment for The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School After Prom Party last Friday. Great time for all!
The midnight party was at the The Bayou Cafe, 507 Saratoga Rd Schenectady, NY. The festivities included a huge spread of fingerfoods, and our karaoke & music video jam!
The kids sang all kinds of oldies that actually surprised me. They also had a goofy limbo contest for a number of prizes and danced the night way!
The staff at the Bayou were great! They were totally cool with shutting down the whole place for the party and were super dealing with all the kids. They sang and danced some, too! I highly recommend them for private parties! 🙂
Due to a scheduling mix-up conflict, the photography company you had booked didn’t make it to the event. Therefore, we stepped up to make the pictures happen. While didn’t have the exact equipment we would have liked to for the shoot, with uplighting and backdrop, the shots still look pretty good! Hopefully, we helped save the day!
